Colombian fintech Bold secures $11.3M credit facility from BBVA Spark

Colombian fintech Bold secured an $11.3M credit facility from BBVA Spark.

Founded in 2020, Bold provides financial services to businesses in Colombia and Peru. The company initially offered affordable payment terminals before expanding into digital payments, deposits, loans, and savings products.

Bold will use the financing to expand lending to Colombian businesses.

Bold has served over 700,000 merchants across Colombia and Peru and processes approximately $5.4B annually in card and QR code payments.
